Volunteer of the Year Award

The NCDCTA ​Volunteer of the Year​ award is to recognize a member that has dedicated their time to helping the NCDCTA and its affiliates.

 

Criteria

• Nominee must be an active NCDCTA member in good standing.

• Nominee must have volunteered on a regular basis during the current  membership year.

• Nominee volunteerism can be at any show or event that is put on by NCDCTA or  at any NCDCTA recognized event.

 

Nomination Process

• Nominations are due January 10, 2024.
• Nominations can be made by any current member or coordinator for NCDCTA recognized events.
• Persons nominating will be required to complete the following questionnaire in its entirety as it will contain pertinent information about the efforts of the nominee during the year.
• Current members of the board, staff of NCDCTA or paid show staff are not eligible.
• Nominations will be available online (see form below).
• Winner will be announced at the NCDCTA Horse of the Year Gala.

Award

• The recipient will be presented with an award to commemorate their dedication and hard work throughout the year.

• The recipient will also be featured in the newsletter in the month following the NCDCTA Horse of the Year Gala.
